This photo is from the Pronto Comics fundraiser event Phrases to Pages 5, essentially a giant comics-making party.
The host prompts you with a phrase, and you have about 40min to create a 1-page story, then judged by professional guests.
Paired up with a visiting Israeli comics writer, we won second place in the first round of the competition!
(Find me in the back right-ish with the skeleton hoodie... next to the redshirt)
The next Pronto Comics meeting is on Thursday, February 5th, and the next Phrases to Pages event is Saturday, March 21st.
