Spent a long weekend in Philadelphia with the drink & draw at Locust Moon comic shop, leading up to exhibiting at the premiere Camden Comic Con with writer Adam McGovern, collaborator on the Magic Bullet #8 comics newspaper. Followed by a full day walking through MoCCA Comics Art Festival here in NYC. Inspiring and fun!

Enjoyed the show while sketching live at Audrey Dimola's World of Words: Queens. Featured poetry, storytelling, spoken word, and various other stunning performances. Drawings from the event will be available as prints.

Sketched the night away at the 5th Benefit Concert for Muscular Dystrophy organized by musician John Paul Henry at Connolly's Klub Pub 45. All proceeds went to MDA, including personal sketches sold during the event. Drawings of performers will be available as prints.

Appeared with writer Adam McGovern at Dewey's Comic City in Madison, NJ celebrating national Free Comic Book Day on May 3rd. Many wonderful people came by for a free Magic Bullet #8 paper and a free sketch!

Drew during every amazing staging of Rockabye Hamlet with the Ophelia Theatre Group. Artwork is available as framed or unframed prints, some with additional coloring.

Offered supernatural portraits at A Day of Horror and Sci-Fi, a film festival at Enigma Bookstore in Astoria. The same weekend, ended up with an impressive amount of table space at the Spring Art Exhibition and Sale, organized by the Greek Artists Guild at the Stathakion Cultural Center. Comics and fine art, photos and ceramics, event sketches from the recent Rockabye Hamlet, and watercolor patterns painted on the spot - and turned into square cards and bookmarks.

BALTIMORE COMIC CON! Fri, Sept 5 - Sun, Sept 7th, found me in Artist Alley, Table A354, beside my talented friends Mindy Indy and Carlos Abdu. They registered me as only "Ellie"  so apparently I'm famous enough for one name (haha)! Included instant sketches, prints, painted ceramics, and a coloring station. Wednesday Sept 10th I appeared at the Amazing Spiral comic shop in Baltimore for sketching and conversation, then attended the Small Press Expo in Bethesda, MD from Sept 13-14th to hobnob with an amazing selection of artists.

Hunts Point Comic Con at a Junior High in the Bronx, free event and perfect for families. Using cafeteria tables to display and sell artwork was the perfect set up for having kids color with me!

Phrases to Pages 5 with Pronto Comics, biannual fundraiser where for only $10 you can partake of wonderful comics-making, tasty snacks, and unlimited Brooklyn Brewery Beer! Won second place in the first round!

Wandered tne Brooklyn Book Festival. It's got books, it's in Brooklyn, what more can I say? Passed out flyers for upcoming exhibit and sketched on location, including a panel of distopian fantasy writers. Similarly wandered the Medieval Festival at Fort Tryon Park. Full of festivities and fun activities!

Assisted with a science and art event for kids at Rockefeller University on Friday, October 3rd. Explored the science behind superpowers, with electricity!

Attended the New York Comic Con as a wandering professional, and organized a Follow the Ellesaur Scavenger Hunt, sending attendees to meet friendly creators, and then to find me for a sketch card prize! Thurs, October 9 - Sun, October 11th

Exhibited at the Locust Moon Comics Festival on Saturday, October 25th in Philadelphia. One of the best events, from one best stores around. Sold art and sketches from my table, then got to party after, and enjoyed a lovely brunch at the shop the next day.

November: Completed NaNoWriMo, displayed art in Heroes & Villains group art exhibit
