Tickets to salsa are $10, venue is generally a family-friendly bar, though event is aimed mostly for adults and gets lively/crowded, food & drink available for purchase.

Aiming to be present on Saturday, in support of my creative colleagues, make live sketches of the festivities, and offer drawing commissions as a wandering artist or TBD involvement (maybe set up a coloring table?)

New independent comics festival in a Bushwick cafe, organized by cartoonist Mindy Indy, with several tables of amazing local artists selling books/related products, and a communal Draw Jam activity.
I won't be formally tabling, but am helping facilitate, providing coloring pages, and available for commissions & collaboration!
FREE admission, purchase food/drink to support the venue.

I have art piece displayed on the wall, from a holiday-themed figure drawing session at Elle Studios, where the model was dressed like an Ice Queen. Among an amazing group of artists with such beautiful variety!

Free Comic Book Day

Everyone Comics (& everywhere)
Free Comic Book Day is the 1st Saturday in May, where comic book shops often give away special or backstock books for free and host live events with comics creators.
As usual, I aim to have a foldable mini-comic/zine prepared to give away all day! This would include a story workshop I'm assisting at Broadway branch of the Queens Library 2-4pm, and probably an evening appearance at Everyone Comics. The file will also be made available in the coloring area of my website to download and print from wherever you are!

You can support the cause financially via Patreon, Paypal or Venmo to ensure a new design is ready to distribute in advance. And/or spread the word by sharing the link and making copies available in your area.

Kickoff party Wed, May 14th location TBD.
That weekend, come visit my studio and meet all the amazing artists in my building and around the area. Open 12-5pm both days, plus special events and afterparties nearby for mingling and live-sketching.
